Thank you to Warner Bros. for sponsoring this post. Scooby Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang have teamed up with generationOn, the youth family division of Points of Light, to inspire, equip and mobilize kids, parents and Scooby Doo fans to create meaningful change in their communities.
My Scooby Doo childhood dreams are finally coming to fruition, and it’s all in the name of doo-ing good. I got to spend a day at twin cities mecca Mall of America to kick off my family’s summer goal of getting more involved in our community. This was the perfect event: not only did we get to meet the good dog in person, we also wrote letters to congress to bring awareness to childhood hunger that affects so many right here in our city. And we had a chance to meet other kids excited to participate in the cause too. Zoinks! That’s something we can all get behind, human OR lovable canine.
Luckily, the Doo Good movement makes it super easy for you to get involved too. There are three ways to donate here. In the Twin Cities, childhood hunger is a very real problem. I don’t know about you, but the boys and I are never not working toward positive contributions in our own community, even by taking small steps.
I was selected by Warner Bros. to participate in the Doo Good Campaign. The content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
