I was introduced to Venice Beach four years ago and I’ve never looked back. Traveling here several times a year, every year since then has become part of my routine. But routine it never is. The food, nightlife, and shopping is always evolving. I was lucky enough to score a reservation at the hippest hotel in the area, The Kinney. The mid-century mod vibes mixed with a heavy European clientele jives well with my personality. We hung in the courtyard every morning and at night. I love that they have a self-service bar and you can store your liquor in lockers below the bar. And obviously, I died over the beautiful, vibrant apartment-style rooms. This is definitely the place to stay within walking distance of the Canals, the Beach, and shopping/ restaurants on the Blvd. I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else now.
